Are you a parent that wants to provide the best possible nutrition for your child/children?

  • Confused by all the hype, and not sure what really is the best food for your family?
  • Does your child hate vegetables?
  • Does your child only eat foods that are white?
  • Does every meal include a sugary treat?
  • Do you think your child will outgrow picky habits?

If this sounds like you, (you are not alone) I can help you sort thru all the hype and figure out the best foods to feed your family.  As a mom, I can share my experiences and help you figure out how best to make changes to your family’s diet without mutiny.

 Help is Here

My name is Audrey Quick, and I am a nutrition educator, with an emphasis on educator.  I look at the scientific evidence, not stories and anecdotes.  My aim is to teach you, so that you will understand why you are choosing various foods, and in turn, you’ll be able to educate your family, as you are feeding them.  While I am happy to help you with meal and menu planning, I really want you to learn the science behind the decisions.

Several years ago, when my son was first born, I was completely confused how to feed him.  At the time, I was a junk-food vegetarian (can you imagine a vegetarian that didn’t eat vegetables?) and we quickly learned that my son had an allergy to the proteins in cow’s milk.  I needed to learn about nutrition, and to learn quickly.

While I wasn’t really surprised to learn that many western diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer were diet related, I was surprised to learn that our diet has a big impact on just about every aspect of health.  Then again, when you really think about it, the old adage “you are what you eat”, is so true.  My asthma and allergies cleared up when I changed my diet, and honestly my skin has never been so clear.
